The County of Honolulu voted last night to file suit against the nation's largest oil companies for their role in delaying action on climate, and their share of the resultant climate adaptation costs. We talk to the County of Honolulu's Chief Resilience Officer Josh Stanbro about what climate impacts look like in Hawaii right now, and how independence from fossil fuels fits into Hawaii's pre-colonial history.
